Help
Short answers to the questions that come up most — building a quote, sending it, plans, and getting help.
Get started
Open EstimatePath and you land on the builder. No account, no card — just start.
Pick a service, add the property details, and you get a clean quote you can hand to a customer.
Paste your job notes and the form fills in likely services, quantities, and scope wording for you. It's a head start. You review and adjust every line before anyone sees it.
The whole thing takes a couple of minutes. Most contractors finish their first quote faster than they expected.
Your numbers
Every line is yours to change. Tap a line item to edit the service, the quantity, the unit price, or the wording the customer reads.
You set the price. The total is whatever you type — nothing changes on its own and nothing is locked.
Add a line, remove one, or rename it to match how you talk about the job. Your numbers stay yours; the customer sees a clean quote with no internal notes.
Send it
Two ways to get the quote to your customer: download a PDF, or copy a share link they open on their phone.
Without an account, your PDFs carry a small watermark and your share link lasts 7 days. That's enough to win the job.
Sign in free for watermark-free PDFs. On Pro, your logo and brand color go on the PDF, and you can send the quote email straight from EstimatePath.
A share link is read-only — the customer looks and calls you. It only shows what they need to see.
Free or Pro
FreePro
Free is the full workflow with monthly caps: 5 PDFs, 5 share links, 5 customer responses, and your last 20 quotes saved.
Pro lifts those caps to 100, drops the watermark, puts your logo on the PDF, saves your own prices, and sends the quote email from EstimatePath.
Pro is a month-to-month subscription. Cancel from your account settings whenever you want.
Use Free until it pays for itself. The full breakdown lives on the pricing page.
Measure it
Trace a driveway, patio, fence run, or gutter on a map and the square footage drops into your quote.
It's an estimate, not a survey — but it beats walking the property twice or guessing from the curb.
Use the measurement as a starting quantity, then adjust the line item to match what you see on the job.
Ask support
The support helper answers product and how-to questions using these public help docs. Ask it how to build a quote, export a PDF, or share a link.
It can't see your account, your saved quotes, or your prices, and it never sets a price for you.
For anything about your account, billing, refunds, cancellation, or legal questions, email support and a real person handles it.
Drafting help
Paste what the customer told you and EstimatePath drafts likely line items, quantities, and scope wording to start from. It's optional — skip it and build by hand anytime.
You set the price. A draft is a head start, not a decision, and every field stays editable in the form.
Read and edit every line before you send. Nothing is finalized or sent on its own — you click send.
Billing
Every Pro charge comes with a downloadable receipt you can keep for your records.
Find your receipts in your account settings under billing. Free use doesn't create charges, so there's nothing to receipt.
EstimatePath bills your Pro subscription and gives you the paperwork. It doesn't process the payments your customers make to you — that stays between you and them.
Get help
Email support@estimatepath.com and a real person reads it. Tell us what you were doing and what went sideways.
This is also where you close your account or ask for a copy of your data.
We aim to reply within one business day, Monday through Friday.
